The German Federal Ministry of Education
and Research (BMBF) entered the patho-genomics
field in 2001 by the foundation of a specific programme GENOMIK .
One of three action lines is exclusively devoted to
human bacterial pathogens, the funding of which comprises
in a first phase about 10 Mio. € (2001-2004).
The programme will be continued beyond 2004 with a
second call and is administratively executed by the
Project Management Organisation Juelich (PTJ) of the
Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH (FZJ) |
